Pick Up from Entebbe Airport

Karibu! Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our driver will be waiting to greet you with a sign clearly displaying your name or that of your team leader. After a brief introduction, he will assist you with your luggage—showcasing the warm hospitality that Ugandans offer visitors—as he helps you to the car for your transfer to the hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can choose to relax in the hotel gardens, visit the zoo, or enjoy a city tour that may include local landing sites, markets, or dining at some of Uganda’s finest restaurants. These activities can be arranged in advance. Drive to Jinja & River Nile Source

Transfer to Uganda's adrenaline capital, Jinja, a charming town known for its historical architecture and the source of the Nile River. Along the way, we’ll make a stop at Mabira Forest, where you can enjoy thrilling zip-lining experiences. In Jinja, you can partake in a variety of adventurous activities, including white-water rafting, kayaking, tubing, quad biking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. The town boasts a stunning natural setting, complemented by colonial structures that tell the story of its rich history. Enjoy a scenic boat cruise to the Nile Source, where you can witness the starting point of Africa’s longest river as it begins its journey north toward the Red Sea. After your adventures, return to your hotel to unwind and engage in cultural activities while savoring some of the country’s finest brews.

Road Trip to Kapchorwa, Sipi

Embark on a scenic road trip through the northeastern part of Uganda, traveling to the foothills of Mt. Elgon. Here, you’ll reach a plateau situated 1,800 meters above sea level, where the breathtaking Sipi Falls awaits. This verdant area features a stunning series of waterfalls, each about 100 meters high, surrounded by picturesque village walking trails and lush coffee hills. While at your hotel, savor some of the finest garden-grown Arabica coffee in the world from the balcony, soaking in the beautiful views. In the evening, indulge in some of the best cuisine Uganda has to offer for dinner and prepare for the adventures that await you the next day.

Nature Walks and Sipi Excursion

After an early breakfast, embark on a nature walk along the Sipi River, which flows through the foothills of Mount Elgon, creating a series of stunning waterfalls that culminate in a dramatic plunge. This scenic area is surrounded by beautiful walking trails and lush green hills. You can choose between a 3-hour or a 7-hour walk, accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide. Your walk can focus solely on the natural beauty and waterfalls, or you can combine it with a café visit or a cultural experience. Regardless of your choice, you’re sure to encounter several waterfalls, forests, and caves along the way, with local villagers greeting you with cheerful "Jambo!" and warm smiles. In the morning, you will set off for Moroto town, the heart of the Karamoja region, in preparation for your cultural activities the following day. The Karamoja Tented Camp, nestled at the slopes of Mount Moroto (3,085 meters), serves as the ideal base for your adventure through northeastern Uganda. The camp's design combines traditional customs and local materials with a modern touch, creating a unique atmosphere. Travel to Kidepo Valley National Park

Today, you will travel to Kidepo Valley National Park, known as Uganda's most isolated and untouched national park. Nestled in a remote corner between Uganda's borders with Sudan and Kenya, Kidepo Valley lies within rugged semi-arid valleys in the extreme northeast of the country. Although the journey to this area is long, it is incredibly rewarding, offering some of the most stunning scenery in Uganda. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive through the Wild Narus Valley, where you can spot herds of elephants and buffalo, as well as the majestic sight of lions and leopards lounging on the rocky outcrops of the valley.

Game Drive & Nature Walks

Kidepo Valley National Park is one of the few parks in Uganda where you can embark on a walking safari. Accompanied by an armed ranger for your safety, you'll explore the wilderness on foot, allowing for a unique and intimate experience with the wildlife. This immersive activity gives you the opportunity to see buffalo, waterbuck, giraffe, warthog, zebra, bushbuck, and playful baboons, along with numerous bird species throughout the year. Your guide will frequently stop to discuss not only the game but also the local flora and fauna, including birds, insects, trees, animal droppings, and the medicinal uses of various plants. In the afternoon, set out for another game drive in this extraordinary national park. The savannah is surrounded by mountains and rocky ridges, providing a stunning backdrop to the abundant wildlife. Kidepo is home to 475 bird species and over 80 mammal species, with many unique to this park, such as ostriches, zebras, bat-eared foxes, wolves, caracals, cheetahs, and greater and lesser kudus. Today, your journey continues to Murchison Falls National Park, one of Uganda's oldest conservation areas. The trip will take you through the diverse landscapes of Northern Uganda, offering a delightful travel experience.     It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
