Start your day with an early breakfast at your hotel restaurant in preparation for the journey to Murchison Falls National Park. We’ll make a brief stop at the Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you can enjoy a walking safari and observe Uganda’s remaining white rhinos in their natural habitat. Afterward, we’ll stop for lunch at Kabalega Diners before continuing to the breathtaking Murchison Falls National Park. Here, you’ll have the chance to encounter a variety of wildlife up close. The highlight of this tour is the magnificent spectacle of the Mighty River Nile as it thunders through a 5-meter gorge, creating a powerful roar and an unforgettable experience that you will cherish forever.

Morning Game Drive & River Nile Cruise

Today, we’ll start with an early breakfast before heading out onto the game trails in search of a close encounter with the animal kingdom. It’s essential to wake up early, as animals are most active in the cooler morning temperatures, making them easier to spot. You’ll have a good chance of seeing hippos grazing, along with buffalo, giraffes, warthogs, elephants, hyenas, leopards, lions, and various bird species, including the shoebill. Be sure to have ample space on your camera card! Depending on where your hotel is located, if you spent the night on the Southern Bank, we should be at the ferry point by this time. If you chose the Northern Bank, you should already be enjoying your game drive. In the afternoon, we’ll embark on a 3-hour cruise to the bottom of the falls, where you can expect to see hundreds of hippos, elephants, and water birds, along with other wildlife quenching their thirst along the riverbanks. Many animals also call the small islands in the river their permanent home. You’ll likely spot plenty of Nile crocodiles relaxing at the Crocodile Bar sector of Murchison, and keep an eye out for the iconic fish eagle, a permanent resident in the area.

Hot Air Balloon Experience

An early morning hot air balloon safari lasting 4 hours will provide you with a captivating experience as you witness a breathtaking African sunrise while overlooking hundreds of animals from above. Whether you’re on a honeymoon or enjoying a family vacation, this is a moment your loved ones will cherish forever. Your remarkable adventure will conclude in style with a toast of champagne and breakfast in the jungle, followed by the awarding of a certificate to commemorate your trip. Afterward, we’ll embark on another game drive, followed by a boat trip to the Delta, where the Blue Nile flows into Lake Albert. Later, we’ll drive back to the hotel, allowing you to relax by the swimming pool and reflect on the wonders of Uganda.

Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe

After breakfast, you have the option to enjoy either a morning game drive or a boat cruise to the Nile Delta. If you don’t have any specific plans for the day, this would be the time to drive back to Kampala, marking the end of your incredible 5-day adventure.
